This second picture is C being towed out of the arena by a tractor after the first heat. Notice the trunk lid crumpled up and how bent in the door brace is. C was hit so hard in the driver's side door (completely illegal) that it rocked the two tires on the left side of the car off the ground. That is why I get a little worried (and it's probably why they all get adrenaline rushes).

So that's a derby. I should have entered my 87 Dodge Ram in one before I moved. It would have rocked. It's been through a dozen fender benders already and would completely pwn the other cars.
so sorry we didn't get to say good bye. The weekend for Evie went down hill from 5pm yesterday. Good thing we went to N& A's--although it was so dissapointing to miss all the commraderie. The drive home was horrible, but now he is safe and sound asleep in his wee bed. LOVED your house! LOVED the brief time we had together. XOXOXO. M.
